Ashburn Bank Robbery Suspect

Loudoun County, Virginia- Authorities in Virginia are looking into the possibility that a recent bank robbery spree over the past month may be connected. Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William and the town of Vienna have all had bank robberies where a female suspect approached a teller, displayed a note and demanded money.

In the latest bank robbery the female suspect, described as a Hispanic woman in her early to mid-twenties, entered the Wachovia Bank in the Ashburn community of Loudoun County on Friday around 5:30 PM. The woman, seen in video surveillance released by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, displays a firearm in her purse to a bank teller and hands a note that demands money. She fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The female suspect is also believed to be involved in three other bank robberies; one in Vienna on October 12th, a second in Prince William County on October 21st and a third in Fairfax County on October 22nd.

The suspect is further described as being 5′3″ to 5′5″ in height and was wearing a white blouse and blue jeans.
